Our role
The challenge of fouling prevention has been placed under increased regulatory pressure resulting in a steady reduction in the approved biocide packages available to formulators. Safinah worked with Philips to assist them to bring to market the “RunWell” system that is now in advance stage of development with tests/trials being conducted on board selected vessels.
How Safinah added value
- This UVc LED based technology has the potential to provide an anti-fouling solution for niche areas as well as potentially for all submerged surfaces that are subject to fouling.
