A major shipyard coating process assessment with the aim of reducing emissions in operation and improving facility/asset performance.
Our role
To undertake a coating activity environmental audit at a major shipyard to identify areas where environmental risk could be mitigated, waste and emissions reduced and provide short and medium-term plans to enable the shipyard to adjust its operating processes to minimise the overall impact to the environment and to reduce the H&S challenges that their employees and contractors faced.
How Safinah added value
- Safinah developed a suitable environment assessment format and conducted the work in partnership with the shipyard to identify novel solutions to the challenges the facility design posed.
